City of Ocean Springs implements proclamation and order regarding alcohol beverage sales

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs implementing a proclamation and order regarding alcohol sales.

The city has issued an order following the recent gunfire incidents.

Out of an abundance of caution the order requires all permitted businesses serving alcohol to end sales by 1:30 a.m. and close by 2 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Sales may resume as early as 7 a.m.

The restrictions do not apply to grocery or convenience stores.
