City of Ocean Springs Hosts Community Meetings Regarding Zoning for Newly Annexed Residents

Ocean Springs, MS – The City of Ocean Springs invites all residents and stakeholders to attend a community meeting regarding the rezoning of newly the annexed areas.

This meeting will be an opportunity for the residents to review maps, provide input, and ask questions.

• Date: November 18 & December 9
• Time: 6:00 p.m.
• Location: Ocean Springs Civic Center

In early 2024, the city annexed aromatherapy 1,200 lots from Jackson County and is now in the process of rezoning these areas.

This meeting aims to ensure that community members are informed and involved in the decision-making process.

Residents will be able to view maps, ask questions about current zoning, and find out the process for rezoning these areas.

The Planning Department and officials will be present to provide detailed information about current zoning and to address any concerns from the community. All residents are encouraged to participate and share their views to help shape the future of the city.
