City of Ocean Springs Awarded Critical Lifesaving Upgrade from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

The City of Ocean Springs Fire Department has been named a 2024 grant recipient by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation®, receiving $39,335 to ensure Ocean Springs is safer than ever.

The grant was used to purchase new J.A.W.S E tools for the department and will ensure our community is better prepared for emergencies.

“We are committed to helping organizations such as Ocean Springs Fire Department continue their lifesaving work. We are honored to be able to award this grant and do our part to ensure that the Ocean Springs community is safer for everyone, including first responders,” said Robin Peters, Executive Director, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

“We appreciate the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for their dedication to not only our local fire department but fire departments across the county,” said Fire Chief Ryan Heath.
