City of Moss Point going gold in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)-The City of Moss Point is going gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

At Tuesday’s meeting, a proclamation recognized the month.

Mayor Billy Knight presented a proclamation; city hall will shine gold in recognition of the month.

This also recognizes the children and families whose lives have been touched by childhood cancer.

Mayor Knight says the lights are a visible reminder of the courage of children who are fighting, strength of families beside them, and the survivors who inspire us.
