City of Moss Point celebrates upgrades to Riverfront Park

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)-Over the weekend, the City of Moss Point celebrated the latest step in the revitalization of the city’s Riverfront.

The celebration coincided with the continuation of the city’s last summer and early fall concert series.

The highlight of the weekend’s festivities was the unveiling of a 17-foot guitar sculpture at Riverfront Park and a new stage for the concert series.

The city says it’s all possible thanks to partnerships with the county, the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, the Mississippi Arts Commission, and the city’s Main Street Association.

There are six more Saturdays of live music to go in the River City. The next is Saturday, August 29 from 5 to 9 p.m.
