City of Madison sends first responders to help in Wiggins after severe weather

WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Wiggins Fire Department is giving thanks to other agencies who came out and helped during last week’s severe weather.

The Madison police and fire departments both traveled to Wiggins and assisted with rescue operations.

Both departments worked to help in a time of need.

With the help, the City of Madison asked everyone to keep first responders who worked tirelessly in their thoughts and prayers.

They add their hearts go out to the communities still affected by the weather, both departments also adding they are committed to providing assistance where needed.
