City of Lucedale warning residents of scam
LUCEDALE, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Lucedale is warning residents about a scam circulating by text message.
City officials say some people are receiving texts asking them to share their thoughts on local Lucedale issues by clicking a link and completing a survey.
The city says that message is not from them and urges residents to use caution and avoid clicking links or responding to texts from unknown numbers.
