City of Long Beach 119th Birthday Celebration
Long Beach Community Affairs Director Courtney Cuevas is in studio to talk about the City of Long Beach’s 119th Birthday Celebration.
The celebration takes place Saturday, August 10th at Greenvale on 179 East Old Pass Road.
- Play of Long Beach – 10 am
- Carol Paola’s gifted program will tell the story of Long Beach on stage for the community.
- Tours of Greenvale – 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- FREE event. The historic house of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Quarles will be open for community members to tour.
- History Presentations – 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Photographs and presentations will be inside Greenvale for community members to look at.
- Games – 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- FREE games for children to enjoy
