City of Gulfport activating new traffic signal
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gulfport announced a traffic notice for this week.
A new traffic signal is being activated at the intersection of Dedeaux Road and Northpark Drive on Thursday, July 24.
That activation takes place at 9 a.m. that day.
City officials say this addition should enhance traffic flow and safety for the area.
A future street widening project in the area is also scheduled and is expected to bring additional improvements to the intersection such as turn lanes and signal poles.
