City of Gautier hiring for several positions
The City of Gautier has several job openings including one that ensures the safety of students.
The part-time position of a school crossing guard is open to someone willing to help students get to and from school safely.
The specialized work of traffic control includes training with the Gautier Police Department and acting as school patrols when needed.
The city is also hiring for a grounds and maintenance operator, maintenance operation, and mechanic. Gautier Chief of Police David Bever said, “The school crossing guards help the kids go crossing the street and help with the traffic flow as kids are being dropped off at school. It is an important part of our daily lives. So, if you’re retired or want something to do for a couple hours a day, I would suggest you apply. It would be a fun job.”
To apply to go to gautier-ms.gov. Applications are accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
