City of Gautier and Army Corps of Engineers sign agreement for public works upgrades

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District is teaming up with the City of Gautier to help the city upgrade some of its public works infrastructure.

Under the terms of an agreement between the corps and the city, the corps will help with the design and construction phases for upgrades to the city’s water, sewer, and drainage systems.

Seventy-five of the costs for this project are federally funded with another 25 percent of the funding coming from local sources.
