City of Diamondhead to hold runoff for ward 4 city council seat

It looks like this special election is not over yet!

Just a reminder: this election is for the Ward 4 city council seat, which is currently empty since Chuck Clark resigned to take a position on the Hancock County Board of Supervisors.

There will be a runoff between Brigitte Becker and Austin Clark. Affidavits still need to be reviewed, but so far Becker received 120 votes and Clark received 111. 338 people voted today.

Becker and Clark both bring very different things to the table, so we will see on February 20th – when the run-offs will be held – who the city elects. That election will take place at the Diamondhead Community Center.
