City of Biloxi recognizes 250 years of U.S. Postal Service

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Biloxi recognized the U.S. Postal Service for 250 years.

Mayor FoFo Gilich delivering a proclamation at Tuesday’s city council meeting. A representative from USPS was there to accept the honor.

Mayor Gilich says this comes as the postal service has played a significant role in the development of the United States.

He says this comes also to mark 250 years of service to the country.
