City of Biloxi Hosts Absolute Public Auction
The City of Biloxi is gearing up for people to make some deals at its public auction on Saturday.
People were able to get a sneak peek today at more than 500 seized, stolen and abandoned items that the City of Biloxi will auction off tomorrow. Anything ranging from diamond rings to computers, laptops, and vehicles will all be up for bids when the auction starts tomorrow at 9 a.m. Auctioneer Nick Clark said, “It’s like anything you do, you’re taking a chance. But there is a lot of bargains here. For the price of admission, which is $10, I think it’s a pretty good gamble to come out here and see if you can’t hit on something really, really good.”
Clark says it’s an absolute auction so whoever bids the highest will own the item. The profits will go into the City of Biloxi’s general fund. Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the corner of Popps Ferry Road and Cedar Lake.
