City of Biloxi Gets New Logo
Mayor FoFo Gilich was only elected months ago, but he’s already shaking things up.
Today, the city of Biloxi unveiled their new logo. City officials say the mayor wanted a fresh, new look for the city’s branding.
The new logo drops the schooner and shrimp boat from the old one, but still features the Biloxi lighthouse along with the year the city was established.
Biloxi Public Affairs Manager Vincent Creel said, “So, this logo, which was designed by the mayor’s cousin, who did a lot of work for him on his campaign, he thought it was so good that he wanted to make it the brand for the city. The mayor paid for this out of his pocket, and we’re going to introduce it on letterhead, or vehicles and letterheads and everything else.”
The first water tower to contain the new Biloxi logo will be the one on Pass Road near the old Broadwater property.
