City Manager Stepping Down

This morning, Diamondhead city Manager Clovis Reed announced he is resigning.
Reed was named city manager back in 2014.
News 25 spoke with reed by phone this morning and when asked why he was resigning, he simply said he’s ready to return to retirement.
Reed said he came out of retirement to help Diamondhead become a stable and viable city….and he believes he’s done that.
He’s set to return from medical leave on May 22nd.
His official last day will be June 30th.
