City leaders discuss finances and infrastructure at Ocean Springs State of the City

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Ocean Springs city leaders are reflecting this week on progress made in 2024 and what’s to come in terms of city development this year.

Mayor Kenny Holloway and city council members took the stage at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Arts Center Tuesday night.

A major focus of the evening was the financial state of the city as well as look at infrastructure upgrades made throughout Ocean Springs in the past year.

Several projects were presented to the public including upgrades to Fort Maurepas Park, water, and sewage work in the downtown area, further investments into the Mary C. facility, as well as other quality of life improvements.

Primary elections for Ocean Springs mayor and city council are April 1st.
