City of Gulfport putting measures in place in response to COVID-19
In keeping with newly released Mississippi State Department of Health guidelines, the City of Gulfport is putting the following measures in place:
• Closing all City properties (parks, centers, harbors, and marinas) to gatherings of groups of more than 10 people.
• Closing of City buildings to the public, but continuing the provision of City services via telephonic and/or digital means.
• Requiring the closing of all restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lounges, taverns, and private clubs, except to the extent that such establishments may only provide take-out, pick-up, delivery, or drive-through services for food.
The attached proclamation outlines the new regulations in effect in the City of Gulfport, effective at 11:59 pm, March 20, 2020.
