City flips switch on Christmas Lighting of the Biloxi Lighthouse
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Biloxi rang in the holiday season with its annual Christmas Lighting of the Biloxi Lighthouse.
Mayor FoFo Gilich and WXXV’s Elizabeth Keen counted down the flipping of the switch, which illuminated the lighthouse with red and green lights just after 6 on Thursday evening.
Spectators also enjoyed a performance from Nativity BVM’s children’s choir, hot chocolate, cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus!
Mayor Gilich says the event is an important start to one of the most magical times in the city.
