Cities continue storm preps for Tropical Storm Bertha

Local governments in South Mississippi continue to make preliminary preparations for Tropical Storm Bertha.

While we’re not expected to see severe impacts, city and county leaders across the region are specifically urging people to secure boats and loose items on their properties due to the elevated wind levels.

Additionally, as a precaution, the City of Long Beach is preparing its evacuation route in the event of flooding along Highway 90 as the storm passes near the area.
