Cinco De Mayo On The Coast
For many of us Cinco de Mayo means margaritas, sombreros, and good Mexican food.
But, contrary to popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day. It is actually a day Mexico celebrates their victory over the French in 1862 at The Battle of Puebla. Regardless, the Cinco de Mayo festivities are getting started here on the coast.
Azteca’s in Gautier is celebrating with margaritas, lots of food, and a live band from Pensacola.
