Christmas on the Water Deadline Approaching

The City of Biloxi is looking ahead toward the Christmas holidays even though Thanksgiving is in two weeks. That’s because they have a few deadlines coming up.
The city is still looking for boat owners to sign up for Biloxi’s signature holiday event Christmas on the Water. The event will feature land and water parades, fireworks, arts and crafts and Santa Claus.
Registration is $25 for boat owners. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, November 24th. Cecilia Dobbs Walton with the City of Biloxi said, “We’re currently taking applications for boat owners for sail, commercial and power boats. This is our 31st annual so for the boat parade it’s just something that was organized, of course, 31 years ago as a way for boat owners to use their boats in the winter time and to get into the holiday spirit and have a little family activity.”
The Christmas on the Water committee is looking for children kindergarten through third grade to sign up for the children’s walking parade happening December 2nd.
