Christmas Tree recycling and cardboard recycling locations announced

A few places on the Coast will be collecting Christmas Trees for recycling starting December 26 and running through January 13.

Locations available for collection include:

  • Pass Christian Harbor
  • The east side of the Long Beach Harbor
  • The Courthouse Road pier in Gulfport
  • Mississippi Power’s Plant Watson

Make sure all lights and ornaments are removed and no artificial trees.

A few locations in Harrison County will also be accepting cardboard from Christmas presents.

On December 30 from 8 AM to noon, five locations will be accepting pickups:

  • The D’Iberville Civic Center on Automobile Parkway
  • South side of Edgewater Mall by Starbucks
  • Harrison County Work Center on Lorraine Road
  • The hurricane shelter on County Farm Road across from the soccer field
  • The east side of the harbor parking lot in Long Beach
