Christmas tree drop off locations in Ocean Springs

The City of Ocean Springs has announced two drop-off locations for residents wanting to recycle their tree.

Ocean Springs residents who wish to recycle their Christmas trees will have the opportunity to do so from December 30, 2020 through January 22, 2021.

Drop-off locations include the following:

• Behind the Ocean Springs Civic Center at 3730 Bienville Blvd.
• At the Public Works Department at 712 Pine Drive Recycled

Trees will be stripped and chipped for mulch. Any trees left curbside will not be recycled, but rather sent to a land fill. Trees must not contain any ornaments or lights, otherwise they will be sent to a land fill.
