Christmas in July Arts and Crafts Fair in Pascagoula

Christmas music and Santa hats made an early appearance over the weekend as part of an arts and crafts show held in Pascagoula.

The Singing River Carnival Club held their first-ever Christmas in July Arts and Crafts Fair Saturday and Sunday at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

The free-to-enter event hosted over 40 different vendors who sold a variety of items including homemade decorations, clothing, and soaps.

Singing River Club Secretary Dave Bingham says they hosted vendors from all across the south, ranging from Texas to Florida to show off their crafts. “We have vendors from all the way from Texas, Georgia, all the way to Louisiana and everywhere in between. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana.”

Organizers are encouraging residents to come visit next year’s festivities where they hope to double the number of vendors they had at this year’s event.
