Christmas Extravaganza For Kids

Kids at the Harrison County Childhood Development Center were all smiles this morning for their Christmas Extravaganza. The annual event begins with Gulfport and Biloxi police escorting 12 buses filled with students from the center outside the Biloxi Town Green to meet Santa. Over 80 students are then escorted to the Elks Lodge where performances and gifts were given out to the kids. The principal of the development center tells News 25 this is a special event that makes the kids eyes light up every year. This annual trip to the Elks Lodge in Biloxi has been a tradition for over 40 years. The lodge donates the gifts to the development center.
