Christmas dinner for those in need
The holidays can be a tough time for many people, but one local organization wants to make sure everyone has a very merry Christmas this year.
Feed my Sheep will be serving up a traditional southern Christmas dinner for those in need this year. The dinner will not be served on Christmas Day, but it will be served the Friday before on December 21st.
Feed my Sheep will not be open the 24th or 25th. Feed my Sheep Director Randy Brownlee said, “You know, Christmas dinner in the south is a kind of a tradition. It’s when families gather and you kind of put on your best and you serve. This dinner that we are doing this year is just kind of a traditional southern dinner, kind of a family style dinner.”
Feed my Sheep does not need any more volunteers for the holiday season, but they do need volunteers for any time after Christmas.
