Child’s death under investigation in Biloxi
A four-year-old has died in Biloxi and there may be an autopsy as early as tomorrow, according to Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer.
Biloxi police were called to Lawrence Street around 2:20 yesterday afternoon for a medical emergency.
The Sun Herald reports that call was actually to Elmwood Apartments, just off Pass Road, where the child lived.
The initial investigation revealed the child sustained injuries while in the company of two adults. The child was taken to an area hospital and later died there.
No charges have been filed, but this case is still under investigation
