Chief Selectee Bridge Run

Chief Selects from the Naval Construction Battalion Center gazed upon a different view for their physical training this morning.
Rather than their normal spot in Gulfport, around 50 men and women warmed up near the Ocean Springs Biloxi Bridge. They continued their PT by running across the bridge and were joined by current chief petty officers. They ended at the World War II Memorial in Biloxi.
This was part of the long training to become chief petty officers in the United States Navy. Something officials say you cannot do alone.
Newly selected chief petty officers are selected once a year.
