Chevron presents ‘Project Lead the Way’ grants across Jackson County
Students at Escatawpa Upper Elementary grooved back to the days of lava lamps as part of their STEM lab.
The project in Kristen Harrison’s third grade class was made possible through Chevron, which presented 13 ‘Project Lead the Way’ grants totaling $65,000 across Jackson County.
Escatawpa Upper uses its grant to fund the STEM lab for all students.
‘Project Lead the Way’ and Chevron have partnered for ten years to build a strong STEM community and develop students who have the technical skills and problem-solving capacity needed to sustain the Gulf Coast’s STEM workforce.
