Cheersport in Biloxi

Dozens of cheerleaders took over the Coast Coliseum on Saturday.
Cheerleaders from many states came down to the Coast to compete at Cheersport Grand Championships. Teams took to the mat to perform and show off all their hard work in hopes of taking home the gold.
Shiela Perry, owner and coach of Cheer Zone Athletics in Long Beach, told News 25 she brought six of her teams to the competition. “It’s going really good and we really enjoy coming to this competition because its local and it’s a great reputable company and usually we do pretty well here. It’s going good so far. We start them at age three and go all the way to age 18, boys and girls, so we have a nice mix of ages of kids and ability levels.”
Cheer Zone Athletics is located on East Railroad Street in Long Beach.
