Chase Carmody steps down as Pass Christian head football coach
Pass Christian Head Football Coach Chase Carmody has stepped down from his post after three seasons as first reported by Coast Football.
During his time with the Pirates, Carmody led them to an overall record of 11-15 including back-to-back trips to the 4A playoffs the last two seasons.
There have been unofficial rumors of Carmody’s impending move to become the defensive coordinator at Ocean Springs, but Carmody declines to comment until it is approved by the school board.
However, he does tell News 25 “My family and I have enjoyed our three years at Pass Christian. I have no doubt they will be successful going forward. We wish the players and coaches the best.”
