Charity walk for Harris McDonnell

A charity walk took place Sunday for the Rebuilding Harris Fundraiser.
The walk raised over $8,500 from just sponsors alone to help Harris McDonnell, son of former Ocean Springs Alderman Matt McDonnell, to walk again. This total does not include the money donated by participants.
The walk was along the Front Beach Pathway in Ocean Springs. Harris says he’s grateful for everyone who participated. “I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone for coming out and showing their support in any way that they have. It means so much to me. This has been such a trying time. Just to have everyone’s support has really made Rebuilding Harris a possibility.”
All proceeds from the event will help with the McDonnell family’s medical expenses.
