Charges upgraded for suspects wanted in homicide investigation in Moss Point

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)-Charges have been upgraded for multiple suspects in the death of a 23-year-old Moss Point man last Saturday.
Roy Reevs Jr, Rubby O’Neal Reevs, and Daniel Kidwell are now being charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of Demond Ross.
Three other suspects, Kezwick Webb, Marcus Jackson Jr., and Gabriel Turk-Magee, are also wanted by Moss Point Police for second-degree murder.
According to authorities, Demond Ross died as a result of an altercation on Lilly Circle on Saturday, March 22nd.
Police say the incident happened after a group of women began fighting. A large crowd gathered and Ross was allegedly beaten by several people as he was trying to break up the fight. He was also struck by a vehicle when another assault victim was trying to flee the scene.
