Charged with felony DUI

A man suspected of driving under the influence offered officers a beer, but that tactic didn’t work on the Gulfport Police Department.
Forty-eight year-old Cayce Jenkins is charged with felony driving under the influence. Police say last night they found Jenkins stopped in his vehicle after witnesses reported seeing him drive erratically. Jenkins handed the responding officer a can of beer and said “Do you want this?”
That offer was declined and Jenkins, who police say is a repeat offender, was arrested. He’s at the Harrison County Jail under a $30,000 bond.
