Changes made to Ocean Springs School District bus routes
We have transportation changes for the Ocean Springs School District that are effective Monday, November 27.
After a recent inspection of the Simmons Bayou Bridge in Gulf Park Estates, OSSD buses will now be rerouted around the bridge.
This will cause delays in bus drop-off and pickup times for students who live south of Simmons Bayou in Gulf Park Estates and Shelby Lane.
The impacted bus routes include buses:
- 10
- 12
- 25
- 22
- 24
- 29
- 48
- 49
- 51
Students who do not live in Gulf Park Estates or on Shelby Lane can also expect delays as drivers learn their new routes.
Students should still plan to be at their bus stops at their normal time unless directed otherwise by their bus driver.
These changes will be effective until further notice.
