Changes for Biloxi voters

If you’re voting in Biloxi tomorrow, there are a few things city officials want residents to know.
The new machines that will be used for the primary election Tuesday is the same software used during the presidential election. A video demonstrating how to use the machine is posted on the City of Biloxi’s Facebook page.
Two municipal polling places have also changed this year. Ward 2 voters will now vote at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Municipal Building and those in Ward 6 will now be asked to vote at the AJ Holloway Sports Complex. City of Biloxi Public Affairs Manager Vincent Creel said, “City wide primaries are going to be for the Republican races tomorrow because we have a city wide mayoral race between FoFo Gilich and Jess Kennedy. On the Democratic side, you’re only going to have one place you can vote and that’s Ward 2. There are no other contested races on the Democratic side.”
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A map of all the polling places is on the city’s website.
