Changed by Grace: Gospel Concert

Tonight in Gulfport, Grace Temple Baptist Church hosted the Changed by Grace Gospel Concert. This is one of many events scheduled on the Coast during January in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The concert featured acts from out of state, the Coastwide Mass Choir, and the winner of WXXV’s 2014 Search for a Superstar Lekeisha Cotten.
Cotten tells News 25 that this annual concert is just one of the many ways the community can celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. “In years past we’ve had as many as 200 voices join us. Tonight we have a very small number of that, but we are so excited to be able to come together and kind of kick off the events of the month, even though we’ve had a few events, but kind of kicking it off with gospel music and fellowship. Just really praising God for the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.”
This Sunday the MLK Celebration continues at Biloxi Civic Center where Brandi Harvey, daughter of Steve Harvey, will speak at 3 p.m.
