Celebrating Older Americans Month in Harrison County
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Valerie De Matties and Cecilia Dobbs Walton are in studio to tell us about a few events coming up in Harrison County this month.
The East Biloxi Senior Center is celebrating Older Americans Month with a pottery exhibition. The reception takes place Thursday, May 8 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The display will be out until May 31 at the Biloxi Visitors Center.
There will also be a Dance Competition and Health Fair on May 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Biloxi Civic Center. For more information call Genna Smith 228-241-2007.
