Celebrating Cinco De Mayo on the Coast
South Mississippi restaurants and food trucks are cooking up some great Mexican cuisine today to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.
Some still confuse Cinco De Mayo with Mexican Independence Day, which is actually celebrated on September 16.
This specific holiday commemorates Mexico’s victory at the Battle of Puebla, but for many, it’s also a day filled with food, music, and time spent with friends and family.
