Celebrating Catholic Schools Week

It’s a national celebration this week in honor of catholic schools.

St. Patrick High School in Biloxi isn’t wasting any time with the festivities. Today, the school hosted the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce members as the school announced its registration and application system for the 2019 school year.

Folks in attendance had the chance to tour the school, enjoy refreshments, and the live band. Test scores and graduation rates show catholic schools are the highest performing schools in the nation.

Principal Dr. Matt Buckley says it’s important to celebrate the schools and the values. “It’s important for people to know and recognize the value of catholic schools and catholic education and how the students who graduate from here and other catholic schools go on to become leaders in our state, in our nation, and most importantly in our church.”

On Friday, registration will officially be open and applications will be available at St. Patrick High School.
