Celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day
Enjoy a cup of coffee and great conversation with Gulfport Police Department this Wednesday, October 6th.
In honor of National Coffee with a Cop Day, meet up with GPD at Boozer’s and Brew and a Café Too on 20th Avenue and 15th Street in downtown Gulfport near the aquarium.
Officers will provide bagels as well as coffee.
Come with questions to ask your local officers and talk about topics you’re curious about. Gulfport Police Chief Chris Ryle said, “We look for every opportunity we can to reach out to our community and this is just one more notch in our tool belt. It’s that one on one relationship we want to have. We want to build trust between our community and the police department. I’ve said it many times. We are fortunate in our community because of our community support and this just builds on that relationship.”
You can enjoy coffee with a cop from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Also, the D’Iberville Police Department invites members of the community to join them on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Quave Brother’s Po’boys Meat and Seafood Market on D’Iberville Boulevard for coffee and conversation. That location is just north of the intersection of Lamey Bridge Road and D’Iberville Boulevard.
