Catholic Diocese of Biloxi hosts Walk of Life

Pro-life supporters took to the streets of Biloxi for their Walk for Life.

The Catholic Diocese of Biloxi hosted its annual Walk for Life yesterday. In the past, they have made this walk in D.C.

Following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, leaders of Walk for Life felt it was time to return the walk to Biloxi to show their support for mothers here.

The walk began at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral and ended at Lighthouse Park across from the Biloxi Lighthouse.

Prior to the walk, members gathered to pray the rosary and attend mass with an all-children’s choir. Students for Life Leader Emily Cloud said, “Even though Roe v. Wade has been overturned, abortion has not ended. People can still go to other states and receive abortions, and we still have to help give the unborn a voice and support women now more than ever, that they can bring life into the world and that we will be here from the womb to the tomb to support women and their babies.”

After the walk, speakers offered information about postpartum childcare.
