CASA of Hancock County holding 9th annual Poker Run
CASA of Hancock County will hold its 9th annual Poker Run presented by Lindsey Lind of Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty and Parker Contracting, LLC at Buoy’s Bar in Bay St. Louis on Saturday, July 9th.
Those interested can pre-register on Friday, July 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ugly Pirate in Bay St. Louis.
Day of registration will begin at 10 a.m. at Buoys Bar. Participants can have their cards dealt at Buoy’s beginning at 12 p.m. All participants must be in line to have their poker hands dealt no later than 4 p.m.
The poker run is a great event that gets friends and families together to support the work of CASA. CASA Executive Director Cynthia Chauvin said, “The energy and the time that people put into supporting our events allows us to be able to do more recruitment, more training, and ultimately fill that void with new volunteers to serve those kids. The fundraisers are always fun for people and the more fun you make it, the more support you get. I think in the end people in Hancock County really care about kids.”
The BSL Trio will play from 3 to 7 p.m. Additionally, CASA will hold a live auction following the last hand dealt.
