Carriere man charged with murder in shooting in Bay St. Louis

A Carriere man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a Bay St. Louis man on Sunday morning.
Bay Police Chief Alvin Kingston said Brendon Potts has been charged and is in the Hancock County jail. Bond has been set at $1 million.
Kingston said Bay officers, along with Waveland and Hancock County were called to the 400 block of St. George Street about 9:16 a.m. about a shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a male suffering from a gunshot. He was identified as Lionell Bradley of Bay St. Louis. Emergency medical services were provided, and Bradley was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Bradley was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation revealed all individuals involved knew each other. Officers learned during an argument, Pitts shot Bradley multiple times. Pitts fled the scene, but was located walking a few blocks away by officers and taken into custody.
