Carpet issues are being fixed at Saenger Theatre in Biloxi
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich has released an update on the progress of the Saenger Theatre, including the work being done to fix an issue with the installation of interior carpeting.
Gilich says the city has requested adjustments to better align the carpet tiles into the correct pattern.
Work crews are also working on leveling the auditorium floor and upgrades to stage rigging and AV systems.
The city still needs to finalize the Saenger’s management plan before the facility can reopen.
