Carnival Association of Long Beach holds inaugural Car Show
There’s a new event in Long Beach adding to the coastal car fever.
The Carnival Association of Long Beach hosted its inaugural Car, Truck, and Jeep Show over the weekend. Over 100 car owners registered for the event, showing off their fancy vehicles and trying to win an award in one of the many categories. Terry Poore with Misfit Street Krewerz said, “First show this year for this how here, Long Beach Carnival Association, first time, and we had a great turnout. We’ve had well over 100 cars. A lot of people out walking around, a lot of kids, a lot of families, a lot of local businesses are involved. They supported this, sponsored it. So, it’s just a community effort to make this happen.”
All event proceeds benefit the Carnival Association, providing donations to local Catholic education and other charities.
