Car Seat Safety Check
On Friday, parents were getting their kids car seats checked at an event at one Biloxi fire station.
The event was organized by the group Safe Kids Gulf Coast. Organizers say Harrison County is the second leading county in the state for unrestrained passenger deaths.
Mississippi law requires children under the age of seven to be in a child safety belt or car seat for their own safety.
