Capital Murder Suspect In Court Today

The capital murder suspect accused of strangling a man to death in Larimer will make his initial appearance in Jackson County Court this afternoon.
40-year-old Thomas Elliott Stafford is accused of strangling 65-year-old Jerry Floyd Kirkendall Senior.. and then stuffing Kirkendall’s body into an unplugged freezer.
Stafford was being held in Portland Oregon, where police arrested him on March 25th.
Stafford was extradited from Oregon Friday.
