Candlelight vigil for victims of violence

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV)- On Tuesday in Picayune, city and community leaders have organized a candlelight vigil to honor recent victims of violence in our country.

The vigil is happening at the Crosby Commons at 7 p.m.

It’s family friendly and open to the public.

Organizers say they will be gathering to pray for the victims of the recent school shootings in Minneapolis and Colorado, as well as for the family of Charlie Kirk, and all victims of violence in our country.
